Location

Ierissos is located on northwest Halkidiki in the Athos peninsula. It is the capital of the Municipality of Aristotle, with long sandy beaches and crystal blue waters. It is well known for its fishing and has a number of good tavernas to eat fresh fish.

While based in Ierissos, you can visit a number of cultural and historical sites, such as the park of Aristotle and the ancient city of Stagira or take the ferry to the monasteries of Athos and the islands of Drenia and Ammouliani.
